Frenquently Asked Questions
What is your style?
I would say the best way to describe my style is by documenting life for what it is; the messy, the real, the raw. All of it. I want to document what sets your soul on fire. I have a bold and bright editing style, mixing in with some black and whites occasionally.
Where are you located?
In a small town in North East Georgia, Pendergrass. I also travel! (email me and we can talk about our next adventure together!)
When Should I book my Session?
I typically book 2-3 months out + spots usually go quick. If you have a season/month in mind, reaching out around three months or more before your desired time will help you be able to pick a more ideal date. If you wait too long, you might lose your chance. When in doubt, it's never too early to book a session!
How does payment work?
I require a 50% down payment for all sessions. This down payment is non-refundable, part of your total fee, and secures your date and time on my calendar. The remaining amount of your total will be due the day of your session with me. Easy peasy! If need be we can do payment plans, just shoot me a message! (Payment can be paid through Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, or Cash)
What happens after my session?
How about a next-day sneak peek?! The day after we create together, I'll be sending you a handful of images for you to enjoy until you receive the rest! Then I will craft and edit your full proofing gallery and have it sent your way within 2-3 weeks. During the months of September-December it make take a week or two longer due to the high volume of clients I receive during the holidays.
Can I have the unedited Images?
Editing is a BIG part of my art and is just as much a part of the creative process as taking the photo is. How I craft my images allows my work to truly be unique to me, so I do not give out any unedited or raw photos.
What can I do with the photos?
Once your photos have been delivered, you can share and print to your heart’s desire! I'll provide a print release so printing is a breeze. One thing that I ask kindly of you is to credit me in your social media posts as they could lead to others getting to experience the magic as well and I also ask to do not edit or alter the photos in any way!
Can I see a full gallery?
Absolutely! If you wish to see what you would receive as a client, you can view my recent work here.
What do you specialize in?
I specialize in seniors, weddings, and couples. I’ve found that these are what I feel like I’m best and most creative at and are the types of shoots I can serve people best in. However, I do also have experience in families, maternity, and portraits.
What happens if weather is bad?
Living in Georgia brings about a ton of unpredictable weather changes, so being flexible is a must. If the weather happens to be less than ideal, we will reschedule! I like to leave a few back up dates for this very reason, so no need to worry or fret about the weather — we will figure out a new date if it's needed.
So...Why invest in a professional photographer?
The photography community is so saturated, it feels like everyone and their mother is a photographer. Not only that, but the pricing range is so broad. So why invest in a professional photographer? From years of experience to the gear used to capture your memories to the time preserving your images, to the creativity and talent involved, there's a lot more that goes into photography than just sticking a camera in your face.
With me, you're getting a lot more than just someone showing up with the title "photographer". You are gaining a friend that's alongside you every step of the way in your season, that has been behind a camera for almost 9 years, knows the ins and outs of her camera and how to navigate through countless lighting situations, goes above and beyond to serve you, care for you and your images, and create art that is long-lasting, professional, and fully you. Your story, your connection, your heart. These things and more are my inspiration and my motivation. I don't take lightly how important these days are for you. These photographs are from the day you committed to the love of your life, your last photos before going to college, your tender moments with your loved ones; they are YOUR life. Being a professional photographer, it is my job to capture your story and serve you with all I got. I promise to do just that. Yes. Professional photography is an investment. I believe your story is worth it. Do you?
let me document you in your truest form.
